What data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Data we collect
Account data: username, full name, a password (stored hashed and unreadable) and an optional profile photo.
Learning data: completed lessons, exam results and issued certificates.
Contact messages: name, email, optional phone and the message.
Protection data: IP address and a hashed device identifier used to prevent abuse and repeated registration, visible to the owner only, recorded at registration, sign-in and when commenting on questions.
Community contributions: the questions, answers and articles you submit yourself.
Why we use it
We use data to run your account, issue your certificates, reply to your messages and protect the site and community from abuse. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Advertising
Article pages may show third-party ads only if the administration explicitly enables them. When enabled the ad provider may set its own cookies, and we will describe that on the cookies page.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can ask to delete your account, which removes your public profile; we may keep limited records where needed to protect the site or to prove the validity of a certificate already issued.

You can view and correct your data from your account page, or write to us from the contact page about any request concerning it.
